Palm Court is a tea blend manufactured by Harney & Sons Fine Tea.

palm court is the name of the 'hangout' at new college of florida...because i guess it is a court with palms.
anyway, i never would have guessed it was the name of a tea.

*chuckles* Well, the tea was created for another gathering place by that name, albeit a slightly more upscale one. Here's the description of it from the Harney site:


Palm Court Blend
The tea we designed for the famous Palm Court Room in New York's Plaza Hotel. They do a great afternoon tea there, and this blend is one of the reasons. Have a cup at home and imagine yourself relaxing in that splendid palace on Fifth Avenue.

well...definitely much more upscale.
there is an eatery (i am relatively positive that that is spelled incorrectly, haha) in the smithsonian american hostory museum in d.c. that also shares this name...i wonder if it is named/based off of the palm court that your tea is named after...?
