God hates me

My first weekend free in a long time, sister's wedding behind, was looking forward to it . . . and . . .

my throat stings. I think I'm coming down with a sore throat. Finally, wedding duties behind me, and this hits.

*shakes her fist at the sky in anger and futile rage while clutching a tissue*

It's not fair, I tell you.

Unfortunately, it's also normal. You relax so much, your immune system does as well. I've seen it plenty of times. My cousin, after putting together the wedding for another cousin of ours, came down with bronchitis or pneumonia days after the wedding.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF! Rest. Relax. And take some vitamins. *mwah*

You are, of course, quite right. :) After two days off from work producing green goo, I am feeling a good bit better. Not quite 100% yet, but better. Thank you so much for the post, sweetie. Perked me right up. How you? :)

It is a testament of your strength that you can hold it all together during a stressful period. However, we all have to deal with the stress so your body waited until you had some free time to fall to bits! It's actually a very good coping skill!

Rest, relax, have some tea with honey, a vitamin c, and some echinchea. Splurge on a pay per view movie and enjoy the downtime your body is demanding!

Hope you are feeling better soon!

You are right, and Ferret is right: it's a message from the body that it wasn't going to take it anymore, and if I didn't let up, it was going to force me to do so whether I liked it or not. :) I feel somewhat better today. Had to take two days off work, which kinda sucks because it eats into vacation time, but I didn't have a choice, as icky as I was.

I slept! From 9 am to noon! It was wonderful. :) Rest is a good thing.
