Really good Dollhouse video

I'd never heard the song before, but bossladydewitt was surely right to choose it for this Dollhouse video. It pairs well with one of the show's concepts, and she chose some great scenes.

Spoilers for the show if you haven't seen it in its entirety.

Dollhouse has kind of been haunting my mind for the last 24 hours. I ran across not a doll again, a web site that was inspired by the show to do something about the all-too-real problem of human trafficking. Every sixteen minutes, someone, a sister, brother, cousin, or friend, disappears.

To help raise money, they've got some cool stuff in their store. (I would feel uncomfortable wearing a shirt with even mild profanity on it outside of a fan convention, but I have to admit that I do really love the "3 Flowers" one.) If I had more friends that liked the show and would actually get the reference, I'd get some Rossum cards to send during the holidays.

I wish more people had appreciated the show while it was in production. While I don't see it ever gaining the following that Firefly has, I do hope that some folks who haven't seen it will give it a chance on DVD.

Thank you so much for linking my video! The song has been haunting me so much since I started vidding it. It was just a prefect choice for Dollhouse, I was surprised that no one had done it before.

I love the tshirts and everything from that site. I debated getting a poster or two for wall. :)

Your video actually enhances the clipped content by informing or reminding the viewer of one of the show's themes -- how could a former English/Philosophy major like myself not link it? ;) Well done, truly.

If they had the "3 Flowers" graphic as a poster, I'd buy it. That way, I could keep it in the house without having to endure the dirty looks from parents if I wore the t-shirt outside.

I didn't quite put the human trafficking theme together with the song, but watching it again, I think you're right. I should really vid more often.

So true. I kind of wish I had made a Three Flowers poster when I was in my printmaking class.

Printmaking class? Interesting. I am epic fail at graphic stuff like that, but I love seeing what people produce. What sort of poster/print did you make when you were in the class?

i didn't really have a focus. I made some things with copper plates and I made a few more silkscreens. A couple of my ideas used Olivia Williams. There are a few pictures at my journal.
