Primal Fear

I just saw Primal Fear, and I quite liked it. I can't tell you why without spoiling it, though. Suffice to say that Edward Norton is impressive in his first major role, and I understand the decisions he made as an actor. The whole cast is good; I always enjoy Alfre Woodard, and Frances McDormand is particularly thoughtful in a supporting role.

Ed Norton was amazing in that movie. He's the best thing about that movie. I think the movie might have been really really bad if it were not for his performance.

Re: Patricia Says
Yeah, having someone meh in that part would've weakened the movie significantly, given that it's such a pivotal role. However, I just read that apparently his screen tests were so electrifying that it caused a buzz around Hollywood at the time.

He's a phenomenal actor. Have you seen The Illusionist? He's one-half of what I think is the hottest screen kiss I've seen in easily the last five years, and possibly the last ten.
