So, we went to Nuevo Laredo last night. I know it has won the "Best of Atlanta" award for Mexican food ten times, but while it was good, I think it's a bit overrated. The place is really noisy and crowded. However, the food . . . it's like really tasty comfort food. Like I'd imagine a really good Mexican home-cooked meal to be. Even the simplest bits, the beans and rice, are flavorful. I'd go back, but I'd try to find some time when it wasn't crowded. It's also in kind of an out-of-the-way location.
