Austin Powers III and Royal Tenenbaums

Saw Austin Powers: Goldmember and The Royal Tenenbaums yesterday. Both were somewhat disappointing, particularly the first. I'm inclined to be forgiving of M. Myers, given the fact that his father died around the time of the project's initiation . . . I just hope his next project fares better.

Poo, I loved Royal Tenebaums. I thought Gibson did a good job in Signs as well. Haven't seen Goldmember yet, don't have a huge desire to either - probably because the scatalogical humor in AP II really got to me.

I also have to admit I'm frikkin tired of movies starring men that change starring women with every sequel. At least The Mummy kept the same starring woman through the episodes.
