I had a stain on one of my favorite t-shirts, but I put a little Cascade detergent on it, tossed it in the laundry, and you'd never know anything had ever been there.
Thank you, Joan! I have always had this mental allocation thing, a partition between the laundry detergent going in the washer, and the dish detergent going in the dishwasher. Clearly, I was in error: it does make sense that something intended to cleanse food would actually do so. :) I don't know if I'd dare it with delicates, but for a t-shirt that I feared was ruined, well, I had nothing to lose, and it worked. :)
