Hulu.com opens

So, hulu.com is now open to the public. If you've heard about Firefly but have never seen it, this is about as easy as it gets. I want to watch Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles based on the recommendations of several friends, but at this time, they only have episodes 6-9 up as far as I can tell. They need much more content, but it will likely get there.

There were five short commercials interspersed in the 44 minute episode of Battlestar Galactica that I watched. To me, this is a decent way to catch a show that you didn't know about in time to TiVo and that hasn't yet been released on DVD or through Netflix's On Demand feature. I like the latter better, but Hulu is fine for when I'm not sure whether or not I'm going to commit to a show. It's a convenient means of sampling.

For me they're 0 for 3. No Dexter, no Weeds, and a useless partial selection of season 2 of Eureka.

This is the right direction, but by the time they get it worked out all the channels will have given in and done this themselves ... in the meantime I wait for DVD releases and Netflix :(
