Matt Damon? As young Kirk?
I found this through LJ's Boston Legal community. Via USA Today:
Shatner is happy with the idea of Matt Damon playing the new young Captain Kirk in J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Trek film. "I think its great. The tragedy is that when somebody else is playing you younger, you're really old."
Now, don't get me wrong. I think Damon is a decent actor (although the Team America gag remains funny), and he probably gets a bit less credit for that than he deserves. However, from what I'd heard, I thought this film was going to focus on young Kirk. We're talking Starfleet Academy days ... isn't Damon a little old for the part?
