I, Claudius

I finally finished watching I, Claudius on Tuesday. For those who aren't familiar with it, it's based on a fictional geneaological history of a part of the Roman imperial family, starting with Augustus.

I really liked it, but it was a massive time commitment (13+ hours). It was worth it, though: Derek Jacobi is truly great, in the sincerest and most serious sense of that word. The cast includes a Patrick Stewart, John Rhys-Davies, Bernard Hill, John Hurt (outstanding as Caligula), and Brian Blessed, among other notable British actors.
