Twin Peaks: Snoqualmie

New Year's resolution

I think I'm going to have to swear off all social engagements save for those previously scheduled until we get unpacked. Given how scheduled we already are, it could be May before we start to get seriously unboxed. :/ Must get this done. I can't go out to play until we get the place in order.

On a brighter note, someone has posted snippets of The Space Giants to YouTube. I found them on DVD, but $45 is a little more than I want to pay for 70s nostalgia. Does anyone besides me remember this show?

Twin Peaks: Snoqualmie

An Onion funny

My co-worker sent me this back in September. I was cleaning out my e-mail In box, and decided to post it here.

From The Onion:

A plan to radically redistrict Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood to further cement the control of the powerful King Friday XIII political machine is expected to pass this week and deeply affect current taxation structure, voting patterns, and services. "Meow-me-meow can't afford meow property tax as it stands now meow, and meow don't want everything I've worked for to be destroyed meow," said one resident, who asked to remain anonymous. Among the anticipated changes are sharp cutbacks in speedy deliveries, the elimination of trolley routes to such low-income districts as Someplace Else and the platypus mound, as well as the destruction of the Museum-Go-Round to make room for a massive new headquarters for The Electric Company.

This one's from The Guardian, not The Onion, but it's still humorous:

Steer well clear of all meetings
