Savory lamb and black bean chili is getting friendly in the crock pot. Garlic, cumin, and plenty of freshly-ground black pepper suffuse the air. Yay, me, for cooking. No, it's not a hard dish at all, as long as I do not attempt to soak the beans myself. *grins* Tried that last time, and it was, erm, crunchy. Back to canned.
