We ended up at the Woodfire Grill, and it was well worth it! Cozy atmosphere, really outstanding above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty service, and refreshingly innovative things on the menu, which changes regularly. I can't recall the last place I saw fried Spanish white anchovies on the menu as an appetizer; roasted Mediterranean mussels, peeky toe crab crostini (we had way too much fun saying "Peeky Toe!"), artisan cheeses (we had a Spanish three milk blend that was particularly good), duck and venison, cedar-planked sturgeon, Kobe sirloin, fabulous ribeye, and wonderful desserts that included this warm pistachio thing that was delicious . . . I really liked it. Would definitely go back.
We're quite lucky to have so much good cuisine in Atlanta.
In other news, I've actually started editing the pictures from Vegas. Yes, it's true. Finished about 25 of them today. Probably about 75 more to go. *cries* I'll take it day by day. Bed now, though.
