Eh? Holidays?

I know I haven't posted in a week -- I am just slammed with RL stuff right now. I still intend to do a Christmas recap, complete with pictures. Still way too much other stuff to do before that, though.

In the meantime, do any of you have any New Year's resolutions?

Me, I'd like to try to make myself keep a tea journal or wine journal, to record impressions of beverages. Maybe I can find a way to do that with my new shiny Zire. :)

Incidentally, I know about the tsunami devastation. I feel terrible for all those who have lost loved ones, and the survivors trying to get their lives back into some semblance of order after having so much of it swept away. There's just not much I can do about it while I'm at work, so I may as well post in my LJ. :/

What plans do you have in 2005?

Tea/wine blog - fun!!
I'm so sadden to hear everyday of more and more sad stories on the tsunami disaster and seeing the horrifying videos :(

Plans for 2005?? Haven't thought of it yet.....better get on it soon!

The tea journal might be old-fashioned pen and paper unless I can find some sort of journaling method on my Palm Zire. The wine journal, though -- a friend very kindly asked me to contribute to the wine blog she's started, and I was delighted to be asked. I need to get on drinking some wine so I can contribute! *laughs* I'll send you the URL, if you'd like to read it.

Hey, New Year's is a great time for wine, right? I've just posted again after a week-long Christmas holiday (where I only had a modem to work with and frankly didn't feel like spending time cuddled up to my laptop when there were friends and family around - I think we all know how that is)

Anyway, posts are totally welcome. :-) I should warn you that I'm going out of town again for the weekend, but will only be gone Friday - Sunday. My sweetie is taking me to Asheville and the Biltmore Estate for our anniversary, so I'm hoping to pick up a good bottle from the Biltmore winery while I'm at it.

I am so happy that you saw this post and replied! :) And yes, absolutely -- family and friends definitely take priority. Heck, I had to work on Dad's computer on Christmas Day, and resented the time that the silly machine absorbed in taking me away from my family. It was worth the effort, though, as Dad can now get e-mail again. :)

We went to Eatzi's last night and picked up some Drunken Goat cheese and I forget what other Spanish cheese -- we plan to drink it with a Rioja over the next few days, so I should have at least one wine to write about, and possibly two.

Thank you again, quandry! *smiles* May you and yours have a wonderful new year!

I'd love to get the URL from you. More recommendations are always a plus in my book!
