Some enchanted meme-vening

I don't normally do much with LiveJournal memes, but I sort of like the historic connection value of this one. (It occurs to me in a stream-of-consciousness sort of way that the word meme, broken down into syllables, is me! me! *grins* Given the way they're generally used in journals, I think it's rather apt.) Anyway, the question:

Where and when did you first hear my name/see my work/meet me? With what people/series/groups/fandoms etc. do you associate me and/or my LJ? This is not a praise or feedback meme, this is just to track the path of my online presence and to see the connections involved, to find out how people link together.

We met at dragoncon at a panel. I don't really associate you with any group.

We did indeed, and I'm glad of it. :) As for groups . . . whaaaat? I don't get included in the Cheese Eaters group? I mean, of course I respect the rights of people who choose to eat toast . . . *winks*

We haven't met at all, so I'll take this as a chance to say hi. I saw you in atlanta_eats and then noticed we has a number of interests in common. There's a chance I'll be moving to Atlanta in the fall, so I've been on the lookout for cool Atlanta-based LJers so that I can read and learn.

Well, heya! Thanks for pulling up a chair. :) One thing I will say for Atlanta: despite traffic, despite bloody hot weather a good 6-7 months of the year, it is a GREAT town for food. We are fortunate to have some excellent restaurants. We have some mediocre ones as well, of course, but there are quite a few gems, some of them bargains. Welcome!

Obviously, we met at Demosthenian. I think of you as a demo alum, but I know your interests are in gaming, cooking, eating and tv shows :) Oddly, the fact that we have a certain young man in common doesn't flicker into my radar very often. The last time it really reared its head was when the poor soul was commenting on a certain activity and a certain green carpet and adding "remember??" and I had to tell him "That wasn't me, that must have been Katharine." Yeah, he doesn't talk about college much anymore...can't fathom why!

*laughs!* Well, we just stay in touch so often through LJ that, well, you're the first Good that comes to mind when I think of the Good family! *winks* :)

Speaking of UGA, are you going to the ANM at all tomorrow? I wish I could but I am up to my eyes in sick kids. I haven't seen this much puking since my high school keg parties!

February is always so slammed for us, and this year is worse than usual. Given my Dad's 65th birthday celebration last weekend, we opted to take this weekend (tonight, specifically), to have our Valentine's celebration. It's a shame -- goodness knows with the news of late, there's tons of excellent debate fodder that I could really sink my teeth into -- but one can't do everything. So instead of the ANM, we'll be gazing into one another's eyes over fondue at the Melting Pot.

Sorry to hear of the hurling going on at your house! Ugh, hon. There is little on this planet that I hate more than barfing. I mean, I understand that some people feel better after they do it, but I always feel worse. I hope it stops soon. *hugs to you*

Enjoy the melting pot! I'd skip the ANM for that too!
