TP DVD cover art:

We ordered a copy of the TP pilot DVD from an online auction . . . but with those things, I'm always holding my breath that everything works out: the postal service, the person on the other end, the mailing back to us, and so on. Keep your fingers crossed, because I don't mess with auction sites unless I really want something and there's just no other way to get it. I'll let you know if/when it arrives. I've been lucky so far, but this seller has been the least communicative I've ever dealt with. Okay, I realize he has tons of things listed and this is his livelihood, so he doesn't have time to respond to every single individual e-mail, but that doesn't ease my mind, particularly, despite all the positive feedback he's received. :/ Ennh - you pays your money and you takes your chances, as the saying goes. :)

The fall weather is wonderful: this is my favorite time of the year. I've been inspired to get back on the Healthrider this past week. Saw Zoolander last weekend, which was quite funny, though I think Mystery Men was a smidge better. I find Owen Wilson entertaining, but, really, it's all just killing time until Lord of the Rings. I cannot wait! :)

Been doing lots at WG - some of you may have seen my interview with MCS' Dale Lullo, which I've been meaning to do since March of 2001. :/ I have a couple more unwritten articles in the hopper as well.

Mmmm . . . "Questions in a World of Blue" just came on. Probably the most painfully beautiful and sorrowful song to come out of the Lynch/Cruise/Badalamenti collaborations.

Been watching a bit more television of late with the start of the new season, which has allowed me to rest my wrists a bit.

More to come. :)

Hee hee hee, I saw Mystery Men recently (and it should be Mystery People or Humans instead, because there is a female, too). I thought it was very funny, but also very "light"...

Anyway, just wanted to drop by to congratulate someone from wg on their wonderful work. WG is a really good site and I love the reviews there.

Thanks so much! :) Appreciate you making such an effort . . . though I'm curious: how did you find my LJ? I mean, it's great, I'm just wondering. :)

Also, have you seen the WomenGamers LJ community?

Many thanks for the kind words. Encouragement helps to keep us going. :)

Did not check your LJ since I posted...
Because we both have womengamers.com listed in the interests column.
And we are the only one.

Anyway, cool stuff.
