White Bean Soup

I had it in my head that a hearty soup would be just the thing to make during my favorite season. Right now, I'm really hoping that I haven't just spent about eight hours making Spicy Nothing. I'm trying this recipe. (Sorry for the crummy cell phone picture: I was too tired after standing in the kitchen all day to go upstairs and get the good camera.)

We'll see how it tastes after a night in the fridge. At least I didn't get carried away with the immersion blender this time. :)

EDIT: It shaped up: the second day has been the best so far. I think if I had it to do over again, I'd roast a head of garlic, and then mash the mellowed aromatic goodness into the soup.

EDIT AGAIN: I roasted the garlic and added it to the remaining soup before freezing it. It was the perfect addition.
