Interview with Joss about Dollhouse

Thanks to Patricia for sharing this nifty interview with Joss Whedon about Dollhouse and other endeavors.

Salon: Joss Whedon just wants to be loved

I remain cautiously optimistic about the show, but this part of the interview gave me a small squee of anticipation:

Looking at the set I was reminded of Wolfram and Hart, the creepy law offices in "Angel" that looked very normal and slick but were run by the devil.

Yes, it is the same designer. And we wanted the same feeling of, "Isn't this attractive? You can't leave."

I'm also pleased that Mark Sheppard will be in it for at least three episodes.

We'll see how it plays out (here's hoping that Fox gives it enough time to actually do that). The show starts this Friday.

EDIT: Additional Joss Whedon interview on NPR - it's a good one.

Side note: You can now watch Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog for free on Hulu! Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day star.

*laughs!* Now you've got me hoping that they use that song somewhere in the series, even if it's just playing in the background on the radio in someone's room or something!
